This project is intended to build a wind turbine to produce electricity. The goal is to make the wind turbine that produces the most energy through testing of different variations to find the optimal build to create the fastest rotation rate. Neocities.
An experiment was conducted to test and optimize the aerodynamics of the wind turbine in order to find the best angle for the blades.
ConclusionMoving forward, our best angle for the blades was at 30°, so that is the angle that all further testing will be at to maximize blade speed. Overall, it is clear that the more surface area of the blades showing to the wind is more effective than less surface area.
